Náš klub vznikl v září roku 2009 pod Asociací náhr. rodin ČR. Předsedkyní klubu je Zuzana Sedláčková. Pěstouni v Plzeňském kraji jsou většinou z okolí Plzně a to je právě ten problém. Málokdo se s někým stýká a pravidelně vídá ( samozřejmě až na výjimky). A právě nutnost vzájemného kontaktu a výměna zkušeností, sdílení radostí i starostí, tohle všechno nás vedlo k založení našeho místního klubu Sovička.
K dnešnímu dni má náš klub celkem 6 řádných členů, 10dětí členů a jednoho sympatizujícího člena.
Klub Sovička se snaží organizovat různé akce, jak pro celé rodiny,tak pro děti a do budoucna bychom chtěli pořádat i např. vzdělávací kurzy či semináře pro pěstouny. Též nabízíme různé služby, např. canisterapii, hlídání dětí či využití učení podle Feuersteina.
Během našeho fungování jsme již zorganizovali následující akce: Mikulášská zábava,návštěva Klokánku v Jan.nad Úhl.,Dětský maškarní ples,různá výtvarná odpoledne, návštěvu Kojenec ústavu v Plzni, sbírku děts.oblečení pro DD Aš,Pálení čarodějnic, Dětský den atd. Hodně našich akcí je určena nejen náhradním rodinám, ale i široké veřejnosti.
